If I had to label three things in which I am most passionate about in this life, they would consist of God, people, and words. Therefore, how blessed I feel that I can use my faith to touch people through my writing. As an English graduate from Texas State University, I want God to be the most noticeable thing about my journey. I have been working one on one with the elderly for about two and a half years now. In this time period, I have not only loved my job but have been in awe at the abundant adoration I have obtained for my residents. The perspective I have gained, the intellect that I am surrounded by day after day, and the bonds that I have created with this generation contribute much to my personal writing. I am thoroughly grateful for my job and could not have asked for a more fulfilling opportunity, in which God has allowed me to see Him in the work environment daily. I am a few months away from the publication of my book "When We Kneel, We Learn: A Look At Caregiving Through The Lens of Faith." Additionally, I have written numerous children's stories and creative pieces throughout my life thus far. My short story/children's story collection, "A Soft Place to Land," has been self-published and can be ordered on Amazon! May my words be of service for His kingdom. May I leave every person and situation better than when I found them. Lastly, may my Father speak through me so prominently that it is not I, but He, Who is being glorified through these passions that He has instilled within me.

I hope that through my life experiences, joys and sufferings alike, others may find comfort in the Light that I have found.
